Hands on Children’s Museum opened its doors in its new location in the fall of 2012. Edge Concrete was thrilled to be selected as a primary exhibit fabricator for this new Children’s Museum serving the Olympia, WA area. Our work in phase one of the project included multiple interactive exhibits such as a replicated Cargo Ship with sea life diorama, the Heroes Exhibit gallery with a fire truck, police car and medic one van, as well as an old fashioned delivery truck. Edge also fabricated an Iconic Tree with fairy lair, a walk through Nurse Log with turtle rescue tank, along with a tree house structure with theming.

KidsQuest Children’s Museum enlisted Edge Concrete to create a rock waterfall, tree house, tree trunk cave as well as a rock/stream water table for their new Factoria, WA museum.  The work was designed by The Portico Group and completed in 2004/2005.

Imagine Children’s Museum

Edge Concrete has a long history with Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett, WA. When it launched a capital campaign in 2000 to build a new home for the children’s museum, Edge worked with the Museum Board and staff members reviewing their ideas and incorporating them into functional exhibit designs. Over the years we have fabricated numerous exhibits including a Tree with Tree-house, the Big Dig Exhibit, a Rooftop Tree & Eagle, replica Boeing Airplane, Vertical Climbing Wall and Transit Exhibit. Our most recent work in 2011 includes faux theming and donor wall panels in the new Lodge space.
